National Science Foundation Information Session for Early Career Individuals.

Join us to learn about the basics of the National Science Foundation as well as opportunities for undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who are supported by the Directorate for Biological Sciences. This session will cover how NSF funds research, the grant proposal process, and details about Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) opportunities, the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP), and the Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Biology (PRFB). A question and answer session will follow the overview of the training opportunities and tips on proposal preparation. More experienced members of the community may wish to attend the session designed for faculty and other professionals.
