Homegrown Strategies: Saving Our Native Flora.

How do we reach out to involve a wider audience in the vital importance of native flora?
This talk will focus on successful strategies that have been utilized to conserve and promote native flora. A power point presentation will be given on innovative projects initiated by both individuals and small groups in the city and state of New York.
Can you initiate a native plant arboretum or create a new plant corrridor? We will consider positive, creative and effective ways to involve our local, state and national officials.
What new ideas can you generate to address the life sustaining issues of awareness, conservation, and promotion of native flora.
