Bryan M. Dewsbury is an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of Rhode Island. He is the Principal Investigator of the Science Education And Society (SEAS) research program. Their work focuses on the social context of teaching and learning specifically as it pertains to student success. Dr. Dewsbury is also a faculty developer and assists education institutions across North America in the transformation of their practices towards inclusive mindsets. He is a fellow of the John N. Gardner Institute where he advises on gateway course transformation.
